The Riverside Retro 135 which has a price of only $16,000 is perhaps one of the most unique travel trailers on this list, thanks to its retro design that takes its styling cues from the 1950s and 1960s.
Ensuring that this small 16-foot travel trailer will be a crowd-pleaser wherever it goes and a standout trailer at the campground.

Another super popular and lightweight RV is the R-Pod RP-171 by Forest River, which has a cost of $19,000 and a very recognizable teardrop shape.
And because this compact teardrop camper has a queen-sized bed in the rear and a four-person convertible dinette at the front, this small travel trailer can actually sleep 4 adults comfortably, which is pretty rare for a trailer of this size.
It’s worth mentioning though that this small travel trailer does have a wet bath, which many campers feel is a deal-breaker because of how cramped and uncomfortable they are to use.
9. Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS
Quick Specs
- Price: $22,000
- Length: 19 feet
- Dry Weight: 4,100 pounds

For those taller campers looking for maximum interior height and headroom, this $22,000 Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS is hard to beat, as it has an unheard of interior ceiling height of 6 feet 9 inches and a full-size queen bed measuring 60 inches by 80 inches.
This small RV is also the cheapest camper on this list with a slide-out, which really helps to open up the floor plan.
However, the higher ceiling on this trailer, as well as the slide-out, do add a lot of extra weight to the camper, making it one of the heavier campers on this list with a dry weight of 4,100 pounds.
But this travel trailer by Coachmen is still considerably lighter compared to larger travel trailers.
Especially considering it has a dual axle, which is pretty rare on a small travel trailer.

One of the most well-built and versatile small travel trailers on this list is the Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS which features an NXG engineered frame, exterior fiberglass sidewalls with Azdel, heated and enclosed tanks, and a one-piece TPO roof membrane.
While certainly not the cheapest small travel trailer on this list with a price of $30,000, as the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

Perhaps the only downside of the Lance 1475 from above is that it might feel a little cramped for some, especially if they plan on living in the RV for extended periods of time.
But not to worry though, as Lance has got you covered with the Lance 1685 model, which provides a little more space as well as breathing room inside the trailer.
When you step inside the Lance 1685, it’s easy to tell how much effort was put into this premium travel trailer, thanks to the well-appointed interior and excellent utilization of space.
While the Lance 1685 is definitely on the high side when it comes to cost, with a price tag of $50,000. For that big price tag, you get a very well-appointed and high-end camper that is really second to none when it comes to comfort and build quality.
