Class A RVs are some of the most well-equipped and luxurious motorhomes on the road today.
And are often the go-to choice for extended camping or full-time living, thanks to their larger size, ample storage, and bigger holding tanks.
However, one limitation of the Class A motorhome, is they’re usually not capable of cold weather camping without first being winterized.
As most RV plumbing systems, including those on most Class A RVs, will freeze if the temperature drops below 32º Fahrenheit.
Which can potentially cause damage to the plumbing system and lead to costly repairs.
The good news, however, for those that want to camp or live in their Class A RV during the colder months, is that there are several Class A motorhomes capable of extended camping and cold weather camping.
Thanks to features like heated holding tanks and underbellies, insulated and enclosed plumbing stations, robust insulation, and powerful furnaces.
So to make it easier to find all the best Class A RVs for cold weather, we’ve highlighted the 10 best options, sorted from least to most expensive.
It’s important to remember though, that all cold weather RVs have their limits when it comes to cold weather and freezing temperatures.
So if you do plan to camp or live inside of a Class A motorhome during the winter months, it’s always best to err on the side of caution and avoid extremely cold weather.
