The Airstream Basecamp 16X, which is the upgraded version of the standard Basecamp 16 is not only one of the most popular Airstream models but it’s also one of the cheapest.
As the Basecamp 16X has an average price of $52,000.
And while that might not seem all the affordable, especially when compared to other similar-sized travel trailers from other brands, which often cost half as much.
When you compare the price of the Basecamp 16X and its big brother the Basecamp 20X (#2 on this list), to other Airstreams, the Basecamp lineup is significantly cheaper.
As many Airstream travel trailers cost well over $100,000 and many Airstream touring couches cost well over $200,000.

3. Airstream Bambi 16RB

Airstream Bambi 16RB Floor Plan
Originally a nickname for Airstream’s smaller single-axle trailers, the smaller “Bambi” style campers proved to be so popular that Airstream eventually made the Bambi nickname official.
By using the name to denote its smallest Silver Bullet trailers.
Available in four different trim levels and floor plans, one of the most popular trim levels is the Airstream Bambi 16RB.
Which also happens to be the smallest and lightest Bambi.

As the camper is a single-axle trailer like all Airstream Bambis and keeps the weight reasonably low, with a dry weight of less than 4,000 pounds.

If you liked the Bambi models from above, then you’ll definitely like this Caraval model.
As the Caravel is the upgraded version of the Bambi.
Designed to offer the feel of a land-borne yacht and provide the ability to travel farther and stay longer, thanks to numerous upgraded features.

In fact, the Caraval offers over 20 different upgrades compared to the Bambi.

Offered in eight main floor plans, the Flying Cloud is a dual-axle travel trailer that starts at 23 feet in length and offers more space as well as features compared to the smaller Bambi.
Because of this, the Flying Cloud tends to be very popular with families and those looking to take more extended camping trips.
Airstream Flying Cloud 25FB Twin Floor Plan
As the different Flying Cloud floor plans offer lots of sleeping capacity and plenty of room to stretch out.
One of the most popular Flying Cloud trim levels and floor plans though is the Airstream Flying Cloud 25FB Twin.
Thanks to the model’s front twin beds, sleeping for up to six, split three-piece dry bath, and nice size living room.
If twin beds aren’t your thing though not to worry, as the Flying Cloud 25FB is also available with a front east-to-west queen bed as well.

As the Globetrotter 27FB provides one of the best versions of the floor plan by offering modern European styling, high-end fixtures, and appliances, and premium finishes throughout.
Airstream Globetrotter 27FB Floor Plan
Designed for travel and adventure, the Globetrotter can trace its roots back to the 1950s.
When Aistream wanted to capture the spirit of its founder Wally Byam and his friend Cornelius Vanderbilt.
When in 1948 they painted the words “Globe Trotters” onto the side of their Airstreams, before shipping them over the Atlantic to explore and travel through Europe.
Beyond its inspiration though, the Globetrotter 27FB, like all 27FB floor plans, offers a very practical and well-laid-out interior.
