Before we go into too much detail about the Geo Pro 15TB though, it’s important that we talk briefly about the Rockwood Geo Pro lineup as a whole.
So you have a better understanding of where the 15TB fits into the lineup.
As there are currently 10 different trim levels of the Geo Pro, including eight different travel trailer configurations, a teardrop version (G12SRK), and a toy hauler version (G19FBTH).
In regards to the Geo Pro 15TB though, the most important thing to know is that it’s the smallest and lightest Geo Pro available, with the exception of the above-mentioned teardrop trailer version.
As all the other Geo Pro trim levels are longer as well as heavier.
In some cases substantially so.
As the largest and heaviest Geo Pro, which is the G20BHS has an overall length of 21 feet 2 inches and a dry weight of 3,547 pounds.
Making it more than five feet longer and almost a thousand pounds heavier, compared to the smaller and lighter G15TB.
So if you’re looking for the most lightweight and easy-to-maneuver Geo Pro, the 15TB is definitely the way to go.
Now that you have a better understanding of where the 15TB fits into the lineup, let’s move on to the general specs of the Geo Pro 15TB.

Floorplan & Features of the Geo Pro 15TB
Perfect for short to medium-size trips, the compact lightweight Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB has everything you need for a quick weekend getaway or even a week-long camping trip.
As the Geo Pro 15TB is a completely self-contained camper that can be used for both campground camping as well as boondocking in the backcountry.
In terms of floorplan though, the 15TB has a rear-lounge layout, which places the seating/bed space at the rear and the more functional components like the kitchen and bathroom at the front.
Allowing the trailer to maximize not only its functionality but also its floor space.
Because the thing to remember is that while the Geo Pro 15TB does have an overall length of 15 feet 8 inches, that’s from the tip of the tongue to the rear bumper.
This means that the actual liveable interior space of the trailer is much smaller.
As the interior floor length of the 15TB is only around 13 feet.
Which is pretty amazing considering how many features and amenities Forest River managed to fit into the camper.
Including features like a convertible dinette booth, a full-featured kitchen, and a wet bath.
To get a better feel for the Geo Pro G15TB’s features though, let’s take a closer look at these features.
Construction
While not as obvious as perhaps other features, one of the best features of the Geo Pro 15TB is its top-notch construction.
Because like all Forest River Rockwood Geo Pros, the 15TB uses class-leading materials and construction throughout.
Including six-sided aluminum cage framing, vacuum laminated walls/roof, 5/8-inch tongue & grove plywood flooring, and interior and exterior Azdel construction.
Which is a premium green-based material that will never delaminate like wood-based materials, such as luan.
In addition, the Geo Pro 15TB also features several other premium exterior construction features as well.
Including a Dexter torsion axle with aluminum wheels, tinted frameless windows, a front rock guard, solid entry steps, and a power tongue jack.
Sleeping Accommodations
While the Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro G15TB excels at many things, sleeping capacity and accommodations is not one of those things.
In fact, the sleeping accommodations and bathroom (more on this later) are probably the two biggest drawbacks of this camper.
As the Geo Pro 15TB has no permanent sleeping berths and only a two-person sleeping capacity.
Due to its convertible rear dinette booth that can either be converted into two separate twin beds or one large king bed.
Because of this, the trailer is not ideal for families or for anyone that needs more than a two-person sleeping capacity.

It’s worth noting, however, that while this camper officially only sleeps two, personally I think this camper could sleep three in a pinch when it’s set up in the king bed configuration.
Especially if one of those three where a small child or perhaps a pet.
Kitchen Accommodations
While the sleeping accommodations on the Geo Pro 15TB are underwhelming, the kitchen accommodations are the exact opposite.
Because while no one is going to argue that the 15TB has a huge gourmet-style kitchen, for the space that Forest River had to work with, the galley on this compact trailer is quite impressive.
As the Rockwood Geo Pro G15TB offers a full-featured kitchen, which includes a stainless steel sink with a high-rise faucet, a three-burner cooktop, a double-door 12V refrigerator, and even a convection microwave.
Plus, thanks to the glass cover over the cooktop, ample lower cabinetry, and large overhead shelf, there is actually a decent amount of work and storage space in the kitchen.
Bathroom Amenities
As mentioned above the Geo Pro 15TB’s bathroom is definitely one of its drawbacks, as it features a two-piece wet bath, with a combined shower and toilet.
Instead of a full three-piece dry bath, with a separate shower, toilet, and vanity found on larger campers and travel trailers.
Which might be a deal breaker for some.
However, when considering the Geo Pro 15TB’s bathroom, it’s important to keep in mind that there are always trade-offs with RVs and travel trailers.
Because while the Geo Pro 15TB doesn’t have a large spacious dry bath, it’s also much smaller and lighter compared to travel trailers that do, which makes it easier to manage and tow.
To see the smallest campers with a dry bath, check out our blog post “10 Smallest Travel Trailers with a Dry Bath“.
Beyond its smaller accommodations though, there are a few nice features the bathroom offers that are worth pointing out.
Starting with its shower miser water saver features, which lets you recirculate the water in the freshwater tank while waiting for the water to heat up, instead of the water just going down the drain.
Which helps to conserve fresh water while boondocking and dry camping.
In addition, the bathroom on the Geo Pro G15TB also offers a quick recovery gas/electric water heater, as well as a large water-tight storage compartment to store all your towels and toiletries in.
Boondocking Capability & Features
In my opinion, the Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB offers some of the best off-grid and boondocking capabilities available on a small lightweight camper, especially when you factor in its price.
As I’m not aware of another small lightweight camper that offers more boondocking capability cheaper than the Geo Pro 15TB.
Because despite its smaller size and budget-friendly price, the camper offers a wide range of standard off-grid and boondocking features.
Including such features as a 200-watt roof-mounted solar panel, a 1,000-watt inverter, additional ground solar prep, a dual battery tray, two 20-pound propane tanks, a large 31-gallon freshwater tank, heated holding tanks, and 15-inch mud rover radial tires with a lift kit.
Allowing you to go further and stay longer in the backcountry with this trailer than just about any other similar-sized and priced camper.
Storage Capacity
While the Geo Pro 15TB doesn’t have tons of storage capacity, due to its smaller size, the trailer does offer a surprising amount of cargo-carrying capacity as well as interior and exterior storage space for its size.
As the trailer offers 1,210 pounds of cargo carrying capacity as well as lots of interior cabinetry and shelving.
Plus, the trailer also offers a large exterior storage bay at the back of the camper.
And if you need even more storage capacity, the trailer can also be equipped with Pro Rac mounting bars and a tongue mount bike rack.
How Much Does the Forest River Geo Pro 15TB Cost?
A new Forest River Geo Pro 15TB will cost between $22,000 and $25,000, depending on the dealer and its options.
While a used Geo Pro 15TB will cost anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000, depending on its production year and condition.
