One of the cheapest RVs you can buy is the pop-up camper, which makes it great for first-time RVers and RVers shopping on a budget.

But just how much do pop-up campers cost?

Pop-up campers can cost anywhere from $8,000 for a small basic camper to as much as $40,000 for a high-end off-grid camper.  In general, though you can expect to spend from $10,000 to $25,000 for an average-sized pop-up camper that is well equipped.

This large Aliner pop-up camper with dual dormers is great for any camper that wants the feel and space of a small hard-sided trailer while still maintaining the flexibility and easy towing of a pop-up camper.  


14. Opus Camper OP4

But the basic concept is, once you manually open the large roof hatches, a built-in pump will do most of the rest of the work for you, as it inflates five side tubes and two main support tubes that give the pop-up camper its structure.

And while I know it’s tough to get over the initial sticker shock of a $42,000 pop-up camper, once you really start to inspect this unique and one-of-a-kind off-grid and adventure-friendly pop-up camper, you can start to see why this camper has such a high price tag.  

To begin with this pop-up camper by TAXA Outdoors uses only the highest quality materials both on the outside as well as the inside.

Utilizing such materials as a powder-coated chassis, black steel skeleton frame, insulated composite panels made from aluminum and foam on the exterior.

And baltic birch for the countertops and cabinets, and inch and a quarter thick plywood with an ABS coating on the interior.

Another really unique feature of this camper is the four-foot-wide and tall rear hatch, which provides a great open area for hanging out and allows for easy loading and unloading of the camper.  

The unique pop-up camper also features a ton of storage options on both the inside as well as the outside, allowing you to easily bring all your adventure and outdoor camping gear with you.
