And thanks to its shorter wheelbase and overall length, you can be sure this small Class C RV will fit in just about any campsite, no matter how small it might be.

While this motorhome doesn’t sleep as many campers as some, due to its floorplan and lack of overhead bunk above the driver cockpit.

It does offer a full walkaround bed at the rear of the motorhome with an abundance of storage and wardrobe space.

  • Sleeping Capacity:  4

One of the cheapest true Class B motorhomes you can buy right now is the Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20A which has an average price of only $80,000,

While this price might not seem that great at first when compared to often cheaper Class C and Class B+ motorhomes when you think about the engineering that went into this compact campervan it’s pretty amazing how much Thor managed to fit into this small RV while still keeping the price down.

Especially when you consider the fact that comparable Class B motorhomes with similar features usually cost well over $100,000.

One of the biggest advantages to this Class B motorhome though beyond its affordable price is the pop-top which allows this very small motorhome to comfortably sleep four people at a time.

The Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20A is also built on the RAM ProMaster Chassis and has a 3.6L V6 engine which puts out 280 horsepower and 260-pound feet of torque.

One of the most well-known and sought-after brands in the RV industry is Winnebago, which has been making quality and reliable RVs since they rolled out their first self-contained motorhome in 1966.

And for those looking for a Winnebago but still wanting to keep the motorhome small, the Winnebago Minnie Winnie, which is available in 6 different floorplans is hard to beat.

But the smallest, as well as the most affordable Minnie Winnie, is the Winnebago Minnie Winnie 22R which has an overall length of only 23 feet 10 inches and an average price of $85,000.

This compact and nimble Class C motorhome by Winnebago is built on the Ford E350 chassis and equipped with Ford’s new Triton 7.3L V8 engine providing plenty of power and torque even when going over those mountain passes.

The Winnebago Minnie Winnie 22R shares a similar floorplan to many other small Class C RVs with a rear corner bed and self-contained bath, a large convertible u-shaped dinette, and an over bunk above the driver cockpit allowing this small RV to sleep five campers comfortably.

The Thor Motor Coach Compass which is also branded as the Gemini is available in two different floorplans including the 23TW as well as the 23TE

However, I feel like the Thor Compass 23TW, which has an average price of $85,000 is the better of the two floorplans, as it features a full-body slide as well as a separate bed and dinette booth that the 23TE does not have.

This Class B+ is built on the Ford Transit 350 van chassis but thanks to its cutaway body, it offers far more interior space than you would find in a standard Class B RV.

While still maintaining a small compact exterior making this RV super easy to drive and maneuver in tight spaces.

This Class B+ RV from Thor is also loaded with features including a standard 100-watt solar panel, all-wheel drive, multiple USB charging stations, frameless windows, Onan 4000 gas generator, and a tankless water heater.

One of my personal favorites on this list of small motorhomes is the Coachmen Cross Trek 21XG, thanks to its well-thought-out design and feature-rich interior as well as exterior.

This little Class B+ from Coachmen has pretty much everything you could want in a small motorhome and has a reasonable price of $90,000.

Built on the Ford Transit 350 van chassis thanks to its cutaway body there is still a surprising amount of interior space even though this small motorhome doesn’t have any slideouts.

And with an overall length of just 24 feet and a gross vehicle weight of only 11,000 pounds.  This is one of the most nimble as well as fuel-efficient small motorhomes you can buy for the amount of interior space it offers.

9.  Winnebago Solis 59P

  • Price:  $100,000
  • Class:  B
  • Length:  19 Feet 9 Inches
  • Gross Vehicle Weight:  8,900 Pounds
  • Slide Outs:  0
  • Sleeping Capacity:  4

One of the shortest Class B Motorhomes on the market today is the Winnabego Solis 59P with a length of only 19 feet 9 inches.

Voted as a 2021 must-see RV by RV Business, this unique Class B motorhome by Winnabego has a pop-top design that offers a second sleeping space allowing up to four campers a place to sleep at a time.

This versatile and small motorhome is built on the RAM Promaster van chassis and comes standard equipped with the RAM ProMaster 3.6L V6 engine which produces 280 horsepower and is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds.

Even though the interior space is small in this Class B motorhome, you can tell that Winnebago went to great lengths to maximize every available square inch inside the RV, thanks to its well-designed and thought-out floorplan.

That is available with either a murphy style bed or sofa bed in the rear as well as a place for four people to sit comfortably inside the RV, thanks to two fixed chairs as well as a swivel driver and passenger seat.

Making this small motorhome which has an average price of $100,000, a great RV for a family of four despite its small and compact size.

  • Class:  B
  • Length:  21 Feet
  • Gross Vehicle Weight:  9,350 Pounds
  • Slide Outs:  0
  • Sleeping Capacity:  2

Another super popular small motorhome is the Winnebago Travato 59G which usually costs around $100,000.

While the Winnebago Travato and the Winnabego Solis look very similar on the outside and are both built on the RAM ProMaster van chassis they actually have quite a few differences.

But the biggest difference between these two Winnabego Class B RVs is that the Winnebago Solis has a pop-top that provides additional sleeping space while the Winnebago Travato does not.

So if you’re thinking about buying a Winnebago Class B RV and trying to decide between the Winnabego Solis and the Winnebago Travato.  You should go with the Solis if you’re looking for the most sleeping capacity while you should go with the Travato if you’re looking for a more comfortable and spacious floorplan.

As mentioned above this small Class B motorhome is built on the RAM ProMaster van chassis which means that it uses the RAM Promaster V6 engine and has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds.

When you’re ready to move beyond the basic small motorhome and looking for more luxury as well as amenities, the Entegra Coach Odyssey 24B is a great place to start.

The all-new Coachmen Galleria 24FL is one of the most high-end and premium class B RVs currently on the road today.

Built on the premium and extended 24 foot Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis there is really no luxury or amenity that Coachmen didn’t include on this ultimate Class B motorhome.

The Coachmen Galleria is available in 4 different floorplans including the 24A, 24FL, 24Q, and the 24T which each offer their own unique advantages.

However, my favorite Coachmen Galleria floorplan is the 24FL due to the large rear seating area with plenty of comfortable seating as well as a good-sized lagoon table, which really makes the rear of this small motorhome feel more like an upscale lounge as opposed to the back of a van.

The Tiffon Motorhomes Wayfarer 25 RW in my opinion is one of the nicest Class B+ motorhomes on the road today.

While there is nothing cheap about this high-end Class B+ RV with an average price of $160,000, you really do get a lot of bang for your buck.

Built on the premium Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis this small motorhome uses a 3.0 V6  turbo diesel engine that pushes out a solid 188 horsepower and 325-pound feet of torque.  Providing a nice blend of power as well as fuel efficiency while going down the road.

Everything about this small RV exudes luxury from its full body exterior paint to its high-end and upgraded interior.
