Class B RVs have several unique advantages over Class A and Class C RVs, including improved fuel efficiency, a more compact and nimble size, and better on-road and off-road handling.
Allowing the Class B RV to camp in areas that would never be possible in larger Class A and Class C motorhomes.
However, one of the biggest drawbacks of the Class B RV is its often expensive price tag.
As Class B RVs can cost well over $100,000, despite their smaller size.
With some of the more expensive models, such as the Winnebago Boldt and the Winnebago Revel approaching almost $200,000.
So to help you find the most affordable and budget-friendly Class B RVs on the market, we’ve highlighted the 10 cheapest Class B RVs you can buy.

Making it one of the best choices out there for those looking for a small motorhome that won’t break the bank.
Inspired by aftermarket van conversions from the popular van life movement, Winnebago designed the Solis Pocket 36A to be a more simplistic and minimalist version of a Class B RV.
Providing everything you need and nothing you don’t for a weekend getaway or adventure in the backcountry.
Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A Floorplan
By offering a three-person sleeping capacity, a convertible dinette booth, a well-equipped galley, a 20-gallon freshwater tank, and plenty of off-grid power, thanks to its two standard AGM deep-cycle batteries and a 170-watt roof-mounted solar power.
However, the more simplistic and affordable build-out on the Solis Pocket does have some limitations, the most notable of which being the lack of a full bathroom.
As the Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A only has a small porta-potty.
In addition, the Solis Pocket also lacks a water heater, inverter, and a generator, which could be a deal-breaker for some.
But if you’re looking for a simple and basic Class B RV at an affordable price, the Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A might just be the right fit for you.

2. Thor Motor Coach Scope 18M

- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Length: 17 Feet 11 Inches (Without Ladder)
- Bathroom: 3-Piece Wet Bath
Similar in many ways to the Solis Pocket 36A from above, the Thor Scope 18M has the same average price as the Solis Pocket 36A.
Which means like the Solis Pocket 36A, the Thor Scope 18M is one of the cheapest Class B RVs you can buy.
The Thor Scope 18M, however, does offer a few unique advantages over the Solis Pocket 36A, with the most notable being its full three-piece wet bath.
As the Scope 18M offers a combined shower, toilet, and bathroom sink, while the Solis Pocket 36A only offers a porta-potty.
In addition, the Scope 18M also offers a 10-foot awning, a 1,000-watt inverter, and a 2.64-gallon water heater, while the Solis Pocket 36A offers no such features.
If there was one drawback of the Scope 18M compared to the Solis Pocket 36A though, it would have to be its sleeping capacity.
As the Solis Pocket 36A is able to sleep up to four at a time, while the Scope 18M can only sleep two.
Thor Motor Coach Scope 18M Floorplan
We can’t discuss the Thor Scope though without a least mentioning the Thor Rize as well.
As the Thor Scope and the Thor Rize are actually sister RVs, which means they’re pretty much the same RV, with the exception of a few minor styling differences and their badging.
So whether you’re looking at the Thor Scope or the Thor Rize, just know that you’re looking at pretty much the exact same RV.

- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 4
- Length: 19 Feet 9 Inches

Including two extra feet of living space, a two-piece wet bath, a pop-top sleeping loft, an Eco-Hot water system, and a four-person dinette booth.
Which makes the Solis 59P great for families.
As the Winnebago Solis 59P is one of the few Class B RVs capable of sleeping four adults at a time, thanks to its rear murphy bed and FROLI pop-top sleeping system.
To see other Class B RVs capable of sleeping four campers at a time, check out our article “10 Amazing Class B RVs that Actually Sleep 4“.
Winnebago Solis 59P Floorplan
These extra features and upgrades come at a cost though, as the Solis 59P costs $8,000 more compared to the more basic Solis Pocket 36A.
However, despite its more expensive price, it’s still a very affordable Class B RV.
In fact, the Winnebago Solis 59P is so affordable, that it’s the 3rd cheapest Class B RV you can buy.

4. Pleasure-Way Tofino
Quick Specs
- Price: $89,000
- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 4
- Length: 17 Feet 9 Inches
- Bathroom: N/A
One of the more unique Class B RVs on this list is the Pleasure-Way Tofino.
As it utilizes a low roof RAM ProMaster chassis, as opposed to the more common high roof van chassis.
Which is what most Class B RVs use.
Allowing the Tofino to maintain a much lower profile, which not only helps to improve the drivability and fuel efficiency of the coach but also makes it much less conspicuous for stealth camping.
Despite its lower roofline and shorter interior height though, the Pleasure-Way Tofino is still a very capable Class B RV, thanks in large part to its full-length pop-top.
As the pop-top on the Tofino not only provides access to the upper sleeping loft but also provides standing height in the middle of the van, which is conveniently located next to the galley.
Allowing you to prepare and make meals while standing in the Tofino, despite its lower profile.
Pleasure-Way Tofino Floorplan
In addition, the Pleasure-Way Tofino also offers tons of comfort and convenience features as well, including dual 100Ah lithium-ion batteries, a 2,000-watt inverter, a Truma Varioheat furnace, and LED lighting and USB charging ports throughout.
As well as 70 cubic feet of rear storage space, and a nicely equipped galley that offers a small stainless steel sink, a 2.3 cubic feet AC/DC fridge, and a one-burner induction cooktop.
The one major convenience feature that the Tofino lacks though is a bathroom, as the Pleasure-Way Tofino offers no bathroom of any kind.
For more info on the Pleasure-Way Tofino, check out Pleasure-Way’s website by clicking here.
5. Thor Motor Coach Rize 18T
Quick Specs
- Price: $92,000
- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 4
- Length: 17 Feet 11 Inches (Without Ladder)
- Bathroom: N/A
As stated above, the Thor Rize is the sister RV to the Thor Scope.
So because we already covered the 18M trim level on the Scope (#2 on the list), we thought it only made sense to cover the 18T trim level on the Rize.
Thor Motor Coach Rize 18T Floorplan
Designed to be a more simple Class B RV, the Rize 18T is built for those focused more on adventure and less on comfort and luxury.
As the Thor Motor Coach Rize 18T offers a minimalist design much like the 18M trim level on the Scope.
However, despite being built on the same RAM ProMaster chassis with the same overall dimensions, the 18T couldn’t be more different from the 18M.
As the Thor Rize 18T, offers a completely different floorplan with a completely different set of features and amenities.
Starting with the fact that the Rize 18M offers an available pop-top, which increases its sleeping capacity up to four.
But the differences don’t stop there.
As the Rize 18T also gets rid of the rear bathroom found on the 18M trim level.
Which greatly simplifies the camper van and allows for more interior storage space.
Allowing the Thor Rize 18T to offer one of the largest wardrobe and cabinet systems available in a Class B RV.
For more information on the Thor Motor Coach Rize 18T or 18M, be sure to check out Thor’s website by clicking here.
6. Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20L

- Price: $94,000
- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Bathroom: 3-Piece Wet Bath
The Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20L is probably the first camper van on this list that can claim to be a full-functioning RV.
As the Thor Sequence 20L is not only a completely self-contained camper van but it also offers everything you’d need for an extended stay off-grid or in the back county.
Thanks to its 190-watt roof-mounted solar panel, dual 100-Ah lithium-ion batteries, 3,000-watt inverter, underhood generator/alternator, 27-gallon fresh water tank, 24-pound propane tank, and Truma Combi Eco hydronic furnace and water heating system.
Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20L Floorplan
The Thor Sequence 20L is also the first Class B RV on this list to offer a full three-piece wet bath with a flushable toilet, instead of a cassette toilet.
Which allows you to not only use its toilet like a regular toilet but also allows you to use an RV dump station as opposed to having to manually empty a cassette toilet inside the RV.
In addition, the Thor Sequence 20L also features one of the most common and versatile floorplans offered on a Class B RV, which is the twin bed configuration.
Which features two twin beds, a rear wet bath with a large wardrobe, a front kitchenette, and two swivel captain chairs in the cab for additional seating.

7. Jayco Swift 20T
Quick Specs
- Price: $102,000
- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Length: 20 Feet 11 Inches
- Bathroom: 3-Piece Wet Bath
A relatively new entrant into the cheap Class B RV space is the Jayco Swift 20T, which shares the same twin bed configuration as the Thor Sequence 20L from above.
With two twin beds, a rear wet bath, a small front kitchenette, two captain swivel chairs, and plenty of overhead storage.
Jayco Swift 20T Floorplan
Built on the RAM ProMaster 3500 window van chassis, the Jayco Swift 20T looks and feels more like a large passenger van than an RV on the outside.
Which helps the Swift 20T keep a lower profile while stealth and urban camping.
However, the Jayco Swift 20T is a completely self-contained full-featured Class B RV.
Including such features as an Onan 2,800-watt gas generator, 1,000-watt inverter, dual 12V AGM house batteries, a 190-watt roof-mounted solar panel, and a 20-pound propane tank.
But the features don’t stop there, as the Jayco Swift 20T also features several premium upgrades as well.
Including such extras as the exclusive Jayco JRide system, Thule armless patio awning with LED light strip, a Truma Combi Eco Plus water heater and furnace, and several exterior Thule accessories.

- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Length: 20 Feet 11 Inches
- Bathroom: 3-Piece Wet Bath
While other RV manufacturers such as Winnebago and Thor make as many as seven different Class B RVs, Coachmen has chosen to focus more on quality as opposed to quantity,
As they only produce three different Class B RVs, including the Nova, the Beyond, and the Galleria.
With the Nova being their entry-level option, the Beyond being their mid-level option, and the Galleria being their high-end luxury option.
Coachmen Nova 20RB Floorplan
However, just because the Nova is Coachmen’s entry-level and most affordable Class B RV, don’t make the mistake of thinking the Nova 20RB is some bare-bones stripped-down camper van.
As the Coachmen Nova 20RB is one of the most well-equipped and feature-rich Class B RVs in its Class.
Offering such upgrades as high-end hardwood cabinetry, an upgraded WiFi Ranger Sky Pro system, and dual-pane acrylic windows.
As well as 22o-watts of solar power, three 115Ah AGM batteries, a Firefly Multiplex 2,000-watt Xantrex inverter, and Rockwool R-15 insulation throughout.
Which makes it one of the most insulated RAM ProMasters you can buy.

9. Thor Motor Coach Tellaro 20A
Quick Specs
- Price: $107,000
- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)
- Sleeping Capacity: 4
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Bathroom: 3-Piece Wet Bath
Like the Thor Scope and the Thor Rize, the Thor Tellaro is the sister RV to the Thor Sequence from above (#6 on the list).
Which means with the exception of a few styling differences and their badging, the Tellaro and the Sequence are the exact same Class B RV.
Even offering the same general trim levels as well as floorplans.
So because we’ve already covered the twin bed layout with the Sequence, we thought it only appropriate to showcase the rear murphy bed and pop-top layout on the Tellaro.
Thor Motor Coach Tellaro 20A Floorplan
Built with families in mind, the Thor Tellaro 20A offers a very similar floorplan compared to the Winnebago Solis 59P from above (#3 on the list).
As they both offer a rear murphy bed, a pop-top sleeping loft, a camp side kitchen, a mid-wet bath, and a front dinette booth.
The Tellaro 20A does offer a few key upgrades over the Solis 59P though, which helps to justify its slightly higher cost.
As the Tellaro 20A offers a 3,000-watt inverter, dual lithium-ion batteries as opposed to AGM lead-acid batteries, a power awning, an additional one foot four inches of living space, and multiple Thule exterior accessories.
For more info on the Thor Motor Coach Tellaro 20A, be sure to check out Thor’s website by clicking here.

- Chassis: RAM ProMaster
- Engine: Gas 3.6L Pentastar V6 (280 hp)

As the Winnebago Travato is the number one selling Class B RV in North America, thanks to its numerous best-in-class features, upgraded electrical system, and well laid out floorplans.
Winnebago Travato 59G Floorplan
