The Winnebago Solis is one of the most popular Class B RVs on the road today.
Due to its versatile design, affordable price, and ability to sleep 4 campers, thanks to its handy pop-top.
But if you’re thinking about purchasing a campervan and specifically the Winnebago Solis, you might be wondering how much the Solis costs?
The Winnebago Solis has a starting MSRP of $107,821 but as is the case with all RVs, you won’t have to pay anywhere near the MSRP to purchase the Solis.
As most RV dealers have the Winnebago Solis priced between $86,000 and $96,000 depending on the trim level and options with an average cost of $90,000.
Winnebago Solis Cost Compared to other Class B RVs
If you’re new to Class B RVs, you might be wondering how the $90,000 price tag of a Winnebago Solis can be considered affordable.
As that might seem pretty expensive when you compare it to the cost of other types of RVs.
For example, the Gulf Stream Conquest 6237LE, which is the cheapest Class C RV has an average cost of only $60,000, which is $30,000 cheaper compared to the Winnebago Solis.

So why is the Winnebago Solis considered an affordable Class B RV?
Well, the answer is evident when you compare the cost of the Winnebago Solis to other Class B RVs.
Brand / Model | Sleeps | Bathroom | Cost |
Pleasure-Way Tofino | 4 | Not Available | $85,000 |
Winnebago Solis | 4 | Wet Bath | $90,000 |
Thor Motor Coach Sequence | 2 | Wet Bath | $90,000 |
Jayco Swift | 2 | Wet Bath | $99,000 |
Thor Motor Coach Tellaro |
4 | Wet Bath | $105,000 |
Roadtrek Zion Slumber | 5 | Wet Bath | $140,000 |
Coachmen Galleria | 2 | Wet Bath | $142,000 |
Winnebago Boldt | 3 | Wet Bath | $180,000 |
Winnebago Revel | 2 | Wet Bath | $185,000 |
As you can see from the above table, the Winnebago Solis is one of the cheapest Class B RV you can buy, with only the Pleasure-Way Tofino coming in $5,000 cheaper.
However, due to the lack of a bathroom in the Pleasure-Way Tofino, the Winnebago Solis might just be the cheapest fully self-contained Class B RV on the road today.
Trim Levels and Options Available on the Winnebago Solis and How They Affect the Price
There are two trim levels available on the Winnebago Solis, including the 59P and the 59PX.
And the main differences between the two trim levels are length, floorplan, air conditioning, an optional generator, and price.
Length: Solis 59P vs 59PX
For starters, the Winnebago Solis 59P is shorter compared to the 59PX.
As the 59P has an overall length of 19 feet 9 inches, while the 59PX has an overall length of 21 feet, which means the 59PX is 1 foot 3 inches longer than the 59P.
And most of this additional length is used to provide a small cargo space at the rear of the 59PX.
Floorplan: Solis 59P vs 59PX
While the floorplans between the two trim levels are pretty similar, there are some distinct differences between the two, including the rear cargo space or lack thereof and the fact that 59P has two available floorplans, while the 59PX only has one.
Generator: Solis 59P vs 59PX
Another big difference between the Solis 59P and Solis 59PX is that the 59PX trim package is optioned with a built-in generator, while the 59P does not come with one.
Air Conditioning: Solis 59P vs 59PX
While both the Winnebago Solis 59P and 59PX have cab air conditioning, as they are built on the RAM Promaster chassis which comes standard with air conditioning.
Where the two differ, is whether or not there is a secondary roof-mounted air conditioner at the rear of the campervan.
Because the 59P only has a roof-mounted Max-Air fan at the rear of the RV, while the 59PX has a roof-mounted air conditioner, as well as a front roof-mounted Max-Air fan.
Price: Solis 59P vs 59PX
As you’ve probably noticed the 59PX trim package is the higher-end trim option for the Winnebago Solis and because of this it also has a higher price.
As the Winnebago Solis 59P has an average cost of $87,000, while the Winnebago Solis 59PX has an average cost of $93,000.
This means the higher-end 59PX trim package will add around $6,000 to the cost of the Winnebago Solis.
Does the Winnebago Solis Always Have a Pop-Top and a 4 Person Sleeping Capacity?
While the Winnebago Solis is known for its pop-top, which gives the Solis its 4 person sleeping capacity, due to the upper bunk it provides.
Winnebago has recently started making a non-pop-top version of the Solis, for those campers that don’t need the 4-person sleeping capacity and want to save some money.
As the non-pop-top Winnebago Solis is generally a little cheaper compared to the pop-top version.
With that being said though, the non-pop-top Solis makes up a very small percentage of total production, as most Winnebago Solis’s are built with a pop-top.
How Much Does a Used Winnebago Solis Cost?
The Winnebago Solis was just released in 2020, so there is not a lot of used inventory available.
In fact, at the time of this writing, there were only about a dozen used Winnebago Solis’s for sale in the whole country on rvtrader.com.
However, if you look hard enough and are willing to drive aways, you can usually find a few used Winnebago Solis’s for sale.
But if you’re looking to save some money by buying a used Winnebago Solis, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
As there is such a high demand for campervans today, that you will more than likely not find much of a discount, if any, on a used Winnebago Solis.
As the used Winnebago Solis’s I found on rvtrader.com, were actually listed for as much and sometimes for even more than what the new ones sell for.
Which can be attributed to today’s high demand for campervans and the lack of available inventory, which is forcing people to pay a premium just to get their hands on one.

Does the Solis Have a Bathroom?
While not overly large or spacious the Winnbegao Solis does, in fact, come with a 2-piece wet bath, which includes a cassette toilet and a shower.
Measuring a sparse 31 inches by 24 inches, it’s kind of like being in an old phone booth, as there is just barely enough room to move around and raise your elbows while taking a shower.
However, the key takeaway is that this compact campervan from Winnebago actually has a wet bath, which is always better than not having one at all.
Also, something that really helps alleviate the claustrophobic feel while using the bathroom is the large bi-fold door on the front of the bathroom, that completely opens up while the bathroom is in use.
Which is really how the bathroom is meant to be used.
As the bathroom has a separate shower curtain that lets you keep the water inside the bathroom even while the large bi-fold door is completely open.
In addition, because this Class B RV has a 20-gallon freshwater tank, 24-gallon gray water tank, and a 5-gallon cassette toilet the bathroom in this campervan can be used completely off-grid.
Just don’t plan on taking any long showers while off-grid, due to the 20-gallon freshwater tank and 2.5-gallon water heater.

Does the Winnebago Solis Have AC?
While the Winnebago Solis front cab area always has AC, thanks to the RAM Promaster chassis that it’s built on.
The Solis does not always have a secondary roof-mounted AC.
As the Winnebago Solis is available in two different trim packages.
Including the 59P, which offers an optional roof-mounted AC, and the 59PX, which comes standard with a roof-mounted AC.
What is the Cheapest Winnebago?
The cheapest towable RV that Winnebago makes is the Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH, which has an average cost of $23,000.
Which also happens to be one of the shortest and lightest trailers Winnebago makes as well, with a length of 19 feet 4.5 inches and a dry weight of 3,360 pounds.
While the cheapest drivable RV that Winnebago makes is the Winnebago Solis Pocket 36A, which has an average cost of $80,000.
