What is the Heaviest Travel Trailer?

Jayco Eagle 334DROK

Travel trailers come in a wide range of lengths and weights in order to accommodate different RVer’s needs and wants.

As travel trailers can range in length from about 13 to over 40 feet and can range in weight from around 1,000 to more than 10,000 pounds.

But I was recently wondering what the heaviest travel trailer is?

So I did some research and this is what I found out.

The heaviest travel trailer is the Jayco Eagle 334DROK, which has a dry weight of 11,375  pounds and a gross vehicle weight rating of 12,825 pounds.

It also has an overall length of 41 feet 2 inches, making the Jayco Eagle 334DROK the longest travel trailer on the road today as well.

To learn more about the heaviest and longest travel trailer, keep reading though, as we provide an in-depth look at the Jayco Eagle 334DROK.

In addition, we also highlight a few runner-ups to the heaviest travel trailer that came in 2nd and 3rd place.

The Heaviest Travel Trailer:  Jayco Eagle 334DROK

Quick Specs

  • Price:  $52,000
  • Dry Weight:  11,375 Pounds
  • Gross Vehicle Weight:  12,825 Pounds
  • Length:  41 Feet 2 Inches
  • Slide-Outs:  4
  • Sleeping Capacity:  4

The Jayco Eagle 334DROK, as you would expect from the heaviest and longest travel trailer, is massive as it seems to go on forever, especially when you’re standing next to it.

As it feels more like a small home than a travel trailer and I guess in a way that’s what this travel trailer is.

Because it’s common for travel trailers of this size to be used as a park or destination trailer that is brought to a specific destination like a lake or campground and then left.

As opposed to a travel trailer that you’re dragging around all over the country behind you while you’re traveling.

Because due to the sheer size of travel trailers like the Jayco Eagle 334DROK, they don’t make the best campers to travel with.

Jayco Eagle 334DROK Floorplan

Just like the outside of the camper, the inside feels more like a home than a standard travel trailer, due to the amount of interior space inside the camper.

As the Jaco Eagle 334DROK actually has three separate rooms inside the trailer.

Including a well-appointed owner’s suite with its own full three-piece dry bath, a large main entertaining area that has access to a second-half bath, and an additional flex room that could be used as another bedroom or as a separate entertaining area.

In addition, the Jayco Eagle 334DROK has one of the nicest kitchens I’ve seen inside a travel trailer.

As it has a large center island with a kitchen sink and high rise faucet, residential-style stainless steel appliances, and tons of countertop space and cabinets.

This heavy travel trailer from Jayco also features 4 slide-outs spread throughout the camper to provide a very open and spacious feel, two separate awnings measuring 10 feet and 20 feet 6 inches, which provide tons of covered outdoor space, and even space for a washer and dryer.
