The Thor Sequence is one of the most popular Class B RVs available today, thanks to its numerous well laid out floorplans, class-leading features, reliable RAM Promaster 3500 XT chassis, and powerful yet fuel-efficient 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine.
But perhaps the biggest reason why the Thor Sequence is so popular is due to its affordable price, as the Sequence is one of the cheapest Class B RVs you can buy!
As the Thor Motor Coach Sequence has a price range from $94,000 to $120,000, depending on its trim level, features, and options, with an average price of $105,000.
If you want to know what a particular trim level costs though or want to see how the Thor Sequence price compares to other Class B RVs, make sure to keep reading.
As we provide pricing for each Thor Sequence trim level below and compare its price to other Class B RVs in the rest of this article, plus much much more.

1. Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20L
Quick Specs
- Price: $94,000
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 9,350 Pounds
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Layout: Opposing Sofas
- Bathroom: Rear 3-Piece Wet Bath
The Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20L is the cheapest Sequence available, with an average price of $94,000.
It’s not just the cheapest Sequence though.
As it’s also one of the cheapest self-contained production Class B RVs you can buy!
As only the Winnebago Solis 59P is cheaper, with an average price of $90,000.
Featuring an opposing sofa layout, the Thor Sequence 20L offers one of the most common camper van layouts in the industry.
Which includes two opposing sofas for lounging and sleeping, a rear three-piece wet bath with a large wardrobe, and a front kitchenette area that features a small kitchen sink, two-burner propane cooktop, a small mini-fridge, and microwave oven.

2. Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20K
Quick Specs
- Price: $100,000
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 9,350 Pounds
- Sleeping Capacity: 2
- Layout: Expanding Sleeper Sofa
- Bathroom: Rear 3-Piece Wet Bath
The second cheapest Thor Sequence is the Sequence 20L, which has an average price of $100,000.
Making the Thor Sequence 20L a great value, especially when you consider the fact that most production Class B RVs and camper vans are priced well over $100,000.
Offering the same rear wet bath as the Sequence 20L from above.
The Sequence 20K offers an expanding sleeper sofa layout, which provides a convertible couch that can be converted into a full-size bed.
If we’re being honest though, this particular floorplan is our least favorite layout of the Thor Sequence.
As the convertible couch is somewhat cumbersome to convert into a bed, and once converted provides no walkway to move around inside the van.
Which makes it challenging to go to the bathroom or get to the kitchen in the middle of the night.
3. Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20A
Quick Specs
- Price: $105,000
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 9,350 Pounds
- Sleeping Capacity: 4 (When Equipped with Optional Pop Top Sleeping Loft)
- Layout: Fold-Up Bed with Storage
- Bathroom: Mid 3-Piece Wet Bath
While the Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20A has an average price that’s $11,000 more expensive compared to the cheapest Sequence, the 20A trim does offer several key upgrades, which justifies its higher price.
With one of the biggest ones being its four-person sleeping capacity.
As the Thor Sequence 20A is capable of sleeping up to four campers at a time when it’s equipped with the optional retractable rooftop SkyBunk® sleeping area.
Which is a real game-changer, for families, as it allows them to also enjoy the benefits of a smaller camper van.
To see other Class B RVs that sleep four, check out our article “10 Amazing Class B RVs that Actually Sleep 4“.
Beyond its four-person sleeping capacity though, the Sequence 20A also offers several other key upgrades as well.
Including a versatile rear murphy bed that provides tons of interior storage space, a mid-three-piece wet bath, and a four-person dinette, when the driver and passenger seats are swiveled around.
4. Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20J
Quick Specs
- Price: $120,000
- Length: 21 Feet 1 Inch (Without Ladder)
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 9,350 Pounds
- Sleeping Capacity: 4 (When Equipped with Optional Pop Top Sleeping Loft)
- Layout: Rear Sofa Bed System
- Bathroom: Mid 3-Piece Wet Bath
While the Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20J is the most expensive Sequence, with an average price of $120,000, you do get a lot of bang for your buck.
Because not only do you get the same four-person sleeping capacity as the 20A from above when it’s equipped with the optional retractable rooftop SkyBunk® sleeping area.
But you also get several other really nice upgrades as well.
As the Thor Sequence 20J is also able to offer three distinct areas inside the RV, despite being the exact same length as the other three trim levels.
Thanks to its strategically placed wet bath, kitchen, and partial dividing wall.
Which allows the Thor Sequence 20J to offer a separate rear lounge area, a good size mid-kitchen, and a versatile front dining area.

Other Factors that Affect the Price of the Thor Sequence
The biggest factor that affects the overall price of the Thor Sequence is its different trim levels, as these trim levels impact not only the floorplan of the camper van but also its features and amenities.
But the trim level of the Sequence is not the only factor that affects its price.
As the price is also affected by how the Class B RV is optioned out and whether it’s a new or used model.
Thor Sequence Options
While all Thor Sequences are very well-equipped self-contained camper vans, there are a couple of additional options that can be added to the Sequence to further enhance its capabilities, which in turn also increases its price.
- Retractable Roof Top with SkyBunk® Sleeping Area (Only Available on the 20A and 20J Trim Levels)
- 800-Ah Re(Li)able® Renewable Battery System
Used Thor Sequence Pricing

How Long is a Thor Sequence?
While some Class B RVs such as the Winnebago Solis vary in length depending on the trim level, that’s not the case for the Thor Sequence.
As all Thor Sequences have the same overall length of 21-feet 1-inch, regardless of the trim level.
Unless you add a rear ladder to the camper van, as this will typically add an extra couple inches to its overall length.
Is the Thor Sequence All Wheel Drive?
The Thor Sequence is only available in a front-wheel-drive configuration and does not have an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive option, due to the RAM Promaster chassis that it’s built on.
As the RAM Promaster chassis is only available in a front-wheel-drive configuration, unlike the Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, which both offer a four-wheel drivetrain option.
Because of this, the Thor Sequence is somewhat limited when it comes to its off-road capability.
Which makes this Class B RV from Thor, less than ideal, if you’re planning on doing a lot of boondocking in remote off-grid campsites.
The good news, however, if you’re looking for a more off-road capable Class B RV is that there are several Class B RVs equipped with four-wheel drive, which we’ve listed below.
- Winnebago Revel 44E
- Winnebago EKKO 22A
- Sportmobile 4X4 Camper Van
- Thor Sanctuary 19P
- Winnebago Boldt 70BL
- Storyteller Overland MODE LT
- Jayco Terrain 19Y
